BEIGE, WOOL and SILK BLEND SCARF - BOUDOIR

Composition: 65% wool, 35% silk

Dimensions: 21.65 inches x 76.77 inches (55 cm x 195 cm)

Color scheme: BEIGE

A large scarf for women made of a subtle blend of Merino wool and silk, with a natural beige and black color scheme. The flower-based pattern is reminiscent of our grandmothers’ laces. A very soft and fluid touch brings warmth and comfort. This stole is designed and woven in Lyon, France, a great gift for Christmas!

Inspiration:

This stole is inspired by the work of our region’s lacemakers. The design consists of seedlings of stylized flowers on a background worked into a tulle-like mesh. Beige paired with black gives a certain relief to the fabric. The surface of the fabric is slightly satiny for a more special look.

Outfit pairing ideas:

This stole goes wonderfully with a chestnut brown or chocolate coat. You can wear it over a black dress for an extra touch of elegance. Adds a beautiful extra something to your evening outfits.

Care instructions:

To swash a scarf made of all natural materials, we advise washing by hand with a detergent made specifically for low temperatures. Do not let it soak for too long. The scarf must be first dried in a cotton towel before putting it on a hanger to dry. Iron on high heat with vapor to preserve the volume of the natural fibers. While putting it in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.

Traditionally produced:

All of our Jacquard looms are an evolution of the weaving loom developed by the Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first programmable mechanical system using perforated cards. Thanks to progress, our looms are now electronically controlled for better speed and exceptional quality.

We have made this scarf for you in the purest tradition of Jacquard weaving, for a perfect result thanks to our savoir-faire passed down from generation to generation since 1880.

This scarf is woven with a black silk warp. The bases of this women's scarf have small 2/3 cm fringes in mustard colored thread. With a hem on all lengths, the finish is perfect.
