PURPLE, COTTON BLEND SCARF - MUMBAY

The inspiration behind the pattern on this scarf was that of creating the visual effect of lace, which is realized with a mix of cashmere palms and a foliage pattern. We envisioned our design to be more intense in the center and more subtle around the edges to provide a more creative aesthetic.

This cotton and silk blend is well-suited for mid-season periods and in winter for those who don’t like wool. The purple and golden color scheme mainly goes well with khaki, mustard or black clothing. Whether its paired with a coat, jacket, or blouse, the timeless style of this women’s scarf goes well with almost any chic, elegant outfit.

To wash a scarf made of cotton and silk, we advise you to wash it by hand without leaving it to soak for too long. Wring it out in a towel without twisting it, and then lay it flat on another towel to dry. When ironing the scarf, use a low setting and use the vapor feature on your iron in order to maintain all the natural properties of the fibers that make up the scarf. While putting it in the dryer is not permitted, you can send it to the dry cleaner’s.

The Jacquard loom is a weaving loom that was created by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design. Thanks to technological advancements over time, our looms are now electronically controlled via very efficient software that allows the scarf to be produced quicker and with a higher level of quality than before. We realized this scarf in the purest tradition of Jacquard weaving, resulting in a perfect product thanks to our savoir-faire passed down from generation to generation since 1880. This scarf is woven with a black silk warp. The base of the scarf is seen in the discrete small 2cm fringes at the ends, which are also black. With a hem on all sides, the finish is truly remarkable.
