With a design inspired by orchids, the motif is repeated several times throughout the scarf to give it an effect of flowers and stripes. When properly placed around the neck, the relief effect of the design is accentuated by layered shades of bright pink to give the ensemble a rich, deep look.

To wash this particular stole made of natural materials, we advise washing by hand with a detergent meant specifically for washing at low temperatures. Do not let it soak for too long. To begin the drying process, put the scarf in a towel to soak up the excess water, but do not wring it out or twist it. Then you may place the scarf on a hanger to dry. It must be ironed on high heat using the vapor function to protect the volume of the natural fibers. While putting in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.

Our Jacquard method used to make this scarf is a modernized evolution of the weaving method developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design. Thanks to technological advancements over time, our looms are now electronically controlled via very efficient software that allows the scarf to be produced quicker and with a higher level of quality than before.We stay up to date with the latest technological progress to keep the quality of our work in line with modern standards.
We created this scarf in the purest tradition of Jacquard weaving, resulting in a perfect product thanks to our savoir-faire passed down from generation to generation since 1880.
This scarf is woven with a black silk warp. The ends of the scarf have small 2cm long fringes which include all the colors of thread used in the scarf. With a beautiful hem along the lengths of the scarf, the finishing is truly remarkable.
