Soft, fine stole for women made of natural materials. An ideal fashion accessory for summer evenings, it completes and accentuates a relaxed chic style. This large scarf was designed and woven entirely in our workshop in Lyon on our Jacquard looms.
Inspiration:
This stole’s sky blue pattern and color scheme are timeless. The design consists of subtle stylized flowers. With its two large white stripe highlights at each end, this summer scarf is creative while still being easy to pair with most summer outfits in your wardrobe.

Being something in between a scarf and a stole, this large scarf is easily paired with most of your summer outfits. If you are going for a chic or casual look, you can pair it with light colored outfits (white, sky blue, or beige), for a more casual look you can wear it with jeans, and for a more formal look, wear it with a navy blue outfit.
Care instructions:
To wash a stole made of natural material, we recommend washing it by hand with a detergent suitable for low temperatures. Do not let your large scarf soak for too long. Rinse until the water runs clear. Press in a cotton towel to remove excess water before draping your stole on a hanger to dry. Iron on high heat with vapor to maintain the volume of the natural fibers. While you cannot put it in the dryer, you may take it in for dry cleaning.

The method of producing the fabric used in this scarf involves the intertwining of silk warp threads and silk weft threads following a specific pattern. To do this, La Fabrique d’écharpe’s weaving workshop has its own Jacquard looms. The Jacquard loom is a weaving loom developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, being the first programmable mechanical system with punched cards to produce patterns by intertwining colored threads. Thanks to our savoir-faire passed down from generation to generation since 1880, we now have electronic Jacquard looms with digital controls that guarantee you perfect quality for our fabrics all while respecting authentic Lyon traditions.
