Made of Merino wool, rayon, cotton, and silk, this scarf is exceptionally comfortable to wear. A blend of innovative natural materials that is so soft you will almost think it’s cashmere! Silhouettes of flours, filled with mini black geometric designs, are positioned on turquoise and ocean blue to create a very dynamic result. Ideal for wearing when the first cold snaps of winter hit.
INSPIRATION

Working from the basis of a large flower design that is arranged across the entire length of the scarf, our designer blended this motif with small squares, moving from hue to hue, to add more creativity and richness to the fabric.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

Whether inside or outside, our Valparaiso stole is an ideal fashion accessory for accenting your winter or mid-season clothes. The truquoise blue color scheme goes well with grey, marine blue, beige, or black outfits. From a leather jacket to an overcoat or a parka, most of your winter wear can be coordinated with this oversized stole.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To wash a wool-based scarf, we advise washing by hand with a detergent meant for wool. Use tepid water, as wool does not tolerate high temperatures. Do not let it soak for too long. To dry, put the scarf in a towel to soak up the excess water, but do not wring it out or twist it. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. It must be ironed on high using the vapor function to restore the natural properties of the scarf’s fibers. While putting it in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

Our Jacquard method used to make this scarf is a modernized evolution of the weaving method developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design. Thanks to technological advancements over time, our looms are now electronically controlled via very efficient software that allows the scarf to be produced quicker and with a higher level of quality than before. We stay up to date with the latest technological progress to keep the quality of our work in line with modern standards. We created this scarf in the purest tradition of Jacquard weaving, resulting in a perfect product thanks to our savoir-faire passed down from generation to generation since 1880.
