Our inspiration for the stripes: some thinner, some thicker, all shaded together; these stripes give structure, guide, and direct the gaze. A choice of dynamic colors joining together red and black with a touch of grey or off-white makes the piece stay within the hues of a masculine color scheme and makes it easy to pair with various pieces of clothing.
Very soft and elegant, this scarf is to be worn either with more dressed up, urban outfits or with more relaxed outfits, and in either case forms part of a contemporary, urban style for the modern man. Pairs best with black, grey, or anthracite.
To wash a wool scarf, we advise washing by hand in tepid water with a detergent made for delicate fabrics. Do not let your scarf soak for too long. Dry it in a cotton towel before hanging your scarf on a hanger to dry fully. The scarf should be ironed on high heat with use of the vapor function to maintain the volume of the natural fibers. While putting it in the dryer is absolutely out of the question, you can take it in for dry cleaning instead.
The Jacquard weave is a weaving method developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards. hanks to the artisan weaving knowledge transmitted to us from generation to generation since 1880, today we have electronically controlled looms that allow for the scarf to be produced with impeccable quality all while respecting the purest methods of traditional Lyon Jacquard weaving. This scarf is woven with a black silk warp thread and a very soft Merino wool weft thread. The ends of this men’s scarf have small, 1cm fringes which show the different colors of thread used.
