Beautiful men's scarf woven in a blend of wool, cotton and silk, a soft, warm, top-of-the-range composition. The design features baroque-style friezes in shades of beige, off-white and grey, colors chosen to add a luminous touch to your outfit. The high-density Jacquard weave was chosen for its solidity. Made in France (in Lyon) in the tradition of Lyonnaise silk, it's perfect for a birthday gift, Father's Day, Christmas or simply to treat yourself.
INSPIRATION

It's a nod to Ancient Rome: to the art of sculpture and the multitude of decorative friezes found in Roman architecture. The coloring in shades of classic men's colors remains sober yet bright, to match all your outfits.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

Thanks to its wool-based composition, this scarf is dedicated to the autumn/winter season. It's not too thick, and can be worn either inside your coat or tied over your jacket or blouson. Refined and elegant, it adds a chic touch to your look. Its beige color blends perfectly with all shades of brown, gray, navy, black, khaki ... perhaps avoid shades that are too bright.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To wash a mostly wool scarf, we recommend hand-washing. Soak the scarf for half an hour in water at 30°C, without rubbing it, to avoid pilling as much as possible. Wring out in a tea towel without wringing and dry flat. For ironing, use a hot iron with steam to restore the plumpness and softness of the natural materials it's made of. While tumble-drying is forbidden, dry-cleaning is permitted.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The Jacquard weaving technique used to make this scarf involves interweaving silk warp threads with Merino wool and cotton weft threads in a specific pattern. To achieve this, the “La Fabrique d'écharpe” weaving workshop uses Jacquard looms. The “Jacquard” loom was originally a loom developed by Joseph Marie Jacquard of Lyon in 1801, the first programmable mechanical system with perforated cards to produce patterns by crossing colored threads. Thanks to know-how handed down from generation to generation since 1880, we now have digitally-controlled electronic “Jacquard” looms that guarantee the perfect quality of our fabrics while respecting the purest Lyonnais tradition.
