The background motif, featuring animal skin designs and camouflage, offers an elegant and timeless style, while its khaki and emerald green color scheme adds luminosity. This scarf is crafted using the Jacquard technique passed down by our forebears at our workshop in Lyon, France.
INSPIRATION

This scarf's design draws inspiration from an African savannah scene, where animal skins and foliage blend together as if engaged in a game of hide-and-seek. fashionable khaki and green color scheme was selected to complement and highlight the design.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

This classic design and color scheme can be easily paired with most of your outfits. It is perfect for everyday wear, whether you choose to pair it with a coat, jacket, or leather coat, or with chocolate, orange, bordeaux red, and bronze-colored clothes. It adds a touch of elegance and modernity to your overall look.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To wash a scarf made of all-natural materials, it is advised to wash by hand using a detergent specifically designed for low-temperature washing. Do not let it soak for too long. Dry the scarf by wrapping it in a cotton towel before placing it on a hanger. Iron on high heat with steam to preserve the volume of the natural fibers. While using a dryer is absolutely out of the question, you may opt for dry cleaning instead.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The weaving method used to make this scarf, known as the Jacquard method, involves the interweaving of a silk warp thread with a cashmere, cotton, and silk weft thread, using a specific pattern. In order to do this, the Fabrique d’Écharpe weaving atelier uses Jacquard looms. The Jacquard loom was developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design by interweaving different colored threads. Thanks to the artisan weaving knowledge transmitted to us from generation to generation since 1880, today we have electronically controlled looms that allow for the scarf to be produced with impeccable quality all while respecting the purest methods of traditional Lyon Jacquard weaving.
