This is our La Fabrique d'écharpe logo, all over. A geometric pattern worked in a Jacquard weave. The threads are fine for a lightweight weave, but the dimensions are generous. The coloring is arranged in regular stripes; 7 stripes in shades of multiple pinks punctuate this large stole.

This large summery stole is very practical for the spring-summer season. Wear it every day over a jacket, blouson or shirt. Thanks to its large size, all ways of wearing this stole are possible, double loops, knotted, as a shawl on the shoulders ....

To wash a cotton and modal stole, we recommend hand washing. However, if your washing machine has a real delicate program without spinning, you can use it. Ironing should be done with a soft iron and steam to preserve all the natural properties of the fibers that make up this scarf. If tumble-drying is forbidden, dry-cleaning is permitted.

The Jacquard weaving technique used to make this scarf involves interweaving modal warp yarns and cotton weft yarns in a specific pattern. The “La Fabrique d'écharpe” weaving workshop has Jacquard looms for this purpose. The “Jacquard” loom was developed by Joseph Marie Jacquard of Lyon in 1801, and was the first programmable mechanical system with perforated cards to produce patterns by crossing colored threads. Thanks to know-how handed down from generation to generation since 1880, we now have electronically controlled “Jacquard” looms that guarantee the perfect quality of our fabrics while respecting the purest Lyonnais tradition.
