Delicate stole made from a subtle blend of merino wool, cotton and silk for an exceptional feel. Chunky tapestry flowers run the length of the scarf. On a purple background, the pattern is fuchsia or brick for the most luxurious result. Small black bangs (approx. 1cm) underline each base. This light, delicate stole can be worn in any season to protect you from the cold. You'll appreciate its large size, which brings comfort and softness, and its original design, which will enhance your style. This stole is 100% made in Lyon-France
INSPIRATION

In the purest tradition of tapestries from the Middle Ages, the motif of this scarf features well-designed flowers spread across the entire surface. A palette of vivid, luminous colors in purple, fuchsia pink and brick cameos perfectly softens the contours of this rich floral motif.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

The blend of wool with cotton and silk, combined with the softness of this stole, makes it suitable for the cooler temperatures of winter, autumn or spring. What's more, its large size means it can be worn either as a scarf over a chic, classic coat, or as a stole over a jacket or blouson. Its classic pattern is right up to date, giving your outfit a casual chic look. The timeless style of this stole makes it easy to wear every day.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To wash your wool, cotton or silk scarf, we recommend hand-washing with a detergent suitable for delicate textiles. Don't let it soak too long, and don't wring it out, but put it in a cotton cloth and let it dry flat on a hanger. Ironing should be done with a low-temperature iron, and steam can restore the plumpness of natural fibers. Tumble-drying is forbidden, but dry-cleaning is permitted.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The Jacquard weaving technique used to make this scarf involves interweaving silk warp yarns and Merino wool weft yarns in a specific pattern. To achieve this, the “La Fabrique d'écharpe” weaving workshop uses Jacquard looms. The “Jacquard” loom was developed by Joseph Marie Jacquard of Lyon in 1801, and was the first programmable mechanical system with perforated cards to produce patterns by crossing colored threads. Thanks to know-how handed down from generation to generation since 1880, we now have electronically controlled “Jacquard” looms that guarantee the perfect quality of our fabrics while respecting the purest Lyonnais tradition.
