YELLOW COTTON BLEND STOLE - MEDITATION

The pattern is inspired by Japanese Zen gardens, dry gardens composed of sand, rocks, gravel...from ancient Japanese tradition. La Fabrique d'écharpe has reinterpreted these circular patterns representing flowing water to give the scarf an impression of softness, freshness and calm. The colors are also chosen with this same symbolism in mind: neutral, Zen-like and in no way aggressive.

A linen scarf that's easy to wear on any occasion. It goes well with your spring outfits: ecru/white, denim, all the reds, pinks and yellows. Don't forget it in your suitcase for weekends, short breaks or vacations, it will come in very handy.

To wash a cotton, linen and modal chèche, we recommend hand washing. Ironing should be done with a soft iron and steam to preserve all the natural properties of the fibers that make up this scarf. While tumble-drying is forbidden, dry-cleaning is permitted.

The Jacquard weaving technique used to make this scarf involves interweaving modal warp yarns with cotton and linen weft yarns in a specific pattern. The “La Fabrique d'écharpe” weaving workshop has Jacquard looms for this purpose. The “Jacquard” loom was developed by Joseph Marie Jacquard of Lyon in 1801, and was the first programmable mechanical system with perforated cards to produce patterns by crossing colored threads. Thanks to know-how handed down from generation to generation since 1880, we now have electronically controlled “Jacquard” looms that guarantee the perfect quality of our fabrics while respecting the purest Lyonnais tradition.
