The pattern is inspired by water droplets redesigned and placed all over. A lot of work was done on the weaving to reveal these droplets in different ways. The shiny and matte effects, thanks to the cotton and silk blend, are very interesting on this scarf and add a very chic and refined touch. The colors are chosen from the pastel range.

To wash a silk and cotton scarf, we recommend hand washing. However, if your washing machine has a delicate cycle without a spin cycle, you can use it. Ironing should be done with a low iron and steam to preserve all the natural properties of the fibers that make up this scarf. If a tumble dryer is not permitted, dry cleaning is permitted.

The patterned or "Jacquard" weaving technique used to make this scarf involves interweaving modal warp threads with silk and cotton weft threads in a specific pattern. To achieve this, the weaving workshop of "La Fabrique d'écharpe" has "Jacquard" looms. The "Jacquard" loom is a weaving loom developed by Lyonnais Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, the first programmable mechanical system with punched cards to produce patterns by crossing colored threads. Thanks to know-how passed down from generation to generation since 1880, we now have electronic "Jacquard" looms with digital controls that guarantee the perfect quality of our fabrics while respecting the purest Lyonnais tradition.
