An exceptionally soft women's scarf, almost like cashmere, made with a luxurious blend of wool and silk. Lightweight and delicate, it is perfect for wearing in early winter. Its asymmetrical design, consisting of multiple stripes, adds depth to the scarf, while the gentle color scheme of green tones creates a light ambiance. Mini fringes finish off the ends of the scarf, and a finely sewn hem completes the lengths.
INSPIRATION

This design features plant-based elements with irregular and asymmetrical stripes. It consists of a stylized representation of plants followed by a monochrome section, creating a sophisticated yet balanced effect. The threads of color intertwine within each stripe to give the of movement and change.

OUTFIT PAIRING IDEAS

This scarf is highly versatile and we recommend pairing it with a black or marine blue blouse, a gray or khaki jacket, or a blue or brown coat. It makes an excellent gift!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To wash a wool-based scarf, it is recommended to wash it by hand. Soak the scarf in tepid water, as wool does not tolerate extreme temperatures. Use a gentle detergent or one specifically designed for wool. Do not let it soak for too. To dry, place the scarf in a cotton towel to absorb the excess water, but do wring or twist it. Lay the scarf flat to dry. To restore its softness and delicate touch, iron on high heat with the steam function. While placing it in the dryer is not advisable, you may opt for dry cleaning instead.

TRADITIONALLY MADE

The weaving method used to make this scarf, known as the Jacquard method, involves interweaving a silk warp thread with a Merino wool weft thread using a specific pattern. The Fabrique d’Écharpe weaving atelier employs Jacquard looms for this process. Developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, the Jacquard loom was the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create designs by interweaving different colored threads. Thanks to the artisan weaving knowledge passed down from generation to generation since 1880, we now have electronically controlled looms that produce scarves with impeccable quality while adhering to the purest methods of traditional Lyon Jacquard weaving.
