For wool scarves, we recommend hand-washing. Soak your scarf in lukewarm water (be careful, wool doesn't tolerate temperature differences). Use a non-aggressive detergent such as Marseille soap or a special wool detergent. Do not twist the scarf, but wring it out in a towel and lay it flat. Ironing should be done with a soft iron and plenty of steam to restore the wool's plumpness and softness. If tumble-drying is forbidden, dry-cleaning is recommended.
