BLUE AND GOLD COTTON RAYON AND LINEN BLEND STOLE - BOUNDARY

Composition: 65% cotton, 30% rayon, 5% linen

Dimensions: 21.65 inches x 74.80 inches (55cm x 190cm)

Color scheme: Blue and gold

This stole woven in a natural blend of cotton, rayon, and linen is remarkably soft to the touch. Ideal for daily use, this large scarf is perfect for accessorizing a more laid-back style, adding a chic touch in line with the latest fashion trends. The dimensions are rather large, and the fabric is quite fluid, which allows for our Boundary stole to be worn with mid-season clothing.

Inspiration:

A traditional Peruvian design inspired our own unique motif for this scarf. The design is very geometric, full of triangular zig zags. The color scheme we used for the threading of this scarf is full of warm and luminous hues.

Outfit pairing ideas:

This particular blend of various bluess, several turquoises, and gold makes the scarf perfect for accessorizing  a laid-back look while still being suitable for wearing while out and about in the city. It would also pair well with jeans and a white blouse, or with a completely linen outfit. However, you could also wear it with a leather jacket or a mid-season coat.

Care instructions:

For this cotton scarf, we recommend washing by hand. It should be ironed on a lower setting with the iron’s vapor function to protect all the natural properties of the fibers which make up the scarf. While you cannot put it in the dryer, you may take it to the dry cleaner’s.

Traditionally produced:

Our Jacquard method used to make this scarf is a modernized evolution of the weaving method developed by Lyon-native Joseph Marie Jacquard in 1801, who created the first mechanical system that could be programmed with perforated cards to create a design. Thanks to technological advancements over time, our looms are now electronically controlled via very efficient software that allows the scarf to be produced quicker and with a higher level of quality than before. We stay up to date with the latest technological progress to keep the quality of our work in line with modern standards.

We created this scarf in the purest tradition of Jacquard weaving, resulting in a perfect product thanks to our savoir-faire passed down from generation to generation since 1880.

To make this scarf even softer to the touch, we softened the fibers after the weaving process with a special wash we created to soften the fabric all while strengthening its resistance.
